What we do not collect
You do not need to create an account or sign in. We do not ask for your name, home address, phone number, location, or payment card details.
What stays on your iPhone
The app saves your display settings, alert choices, and the last climate update that loaded successfully. This lets it show a clearly dated saved update when NOAA cannot be reached.
When the app downloads climate data
El Niño downloads public data from NOAA's Climate Prediction Center and National Centers for Environmental Information. When your iPhone connects, those services may receive its IP address and basic information about the request. Their own privacy policies apply.
App Store purchases
You buy El Niño through the App Store with one upfront payment. Apple handles payment, downloads, refunds, and crash reports under Apple's policies. We never see your payment card details.
Support email
If you email support at elnino-app@tony.expert, we use your email address and message only to answer you. Please do not send private financial, insurance, farming, legal, safety, or emergency information.
Children
El Niño is not made for children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
